Bicycle Mechanic

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Bicycle Technician to join our team. The role involves assembling, repairing, and maintaining bicycles to ensure they are safe, reliable, and performing at their best. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for cycling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble new bicycles according to specifications

• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on all types of bicycles (gears, brakes, tires, wheels, chains, etc.).

• Conduct routine maintenance and tune-ups.

• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and offering product recommendations.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.

• Keep records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance performed.

• Stay updated on the latest bicycle technology, tools, and repair techniques.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a bicycle mechanic/technician (preferred but not always required).

• Mechanical/ITI related course prefered

• Ability to use hand tools, specialized bicycle repair tools, and diagnostic equipment.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Good communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude.

• Physically fit to lift and work on bicycles of various sizes.

Desirable Skills (Optional):

• Certification in bicycle mechanics or related training.

• Knowledge of e-bike assembly and maintenance.

• Sales experience in a bike shop or sporting goods store.

Work Environment:

• Full-time

• Workshop/retail store setting with customer interaction.

• May include weekends and peak-season work hours.
