Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Fitter (Mechanical & Electrical) with an ITI background to join our candy production company. The candidate will be responsible for the assembly, fitting, repair, and maintenance of production machinery, including handling wiring, motors, and electrical repairs. He should ensure smooth functioning of equipment by carrying out timely repairs, preventive maintenance tasks, and supporting engineers in day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform fitting, assembling, dismantling, and repairing of machine parts and equipment.

Carry out routine mechanical and electrical maintenance of candy production machinery.

Handle wiring, motor repairs, electrical panel troubleshooting, and small electronic appliances.

Assist in installation, wiring, and alignment of new machines under the guidance of engineers.

Inspect and identify faulty mechanical and electrical components, and replace/repair them.

Maintain tools, workshop equipment, and spare parts in good working condition.

Support in implementing preventive maintenance schedules for both mechanical and electrical systems.

Ensure adherence to safety standards while working on machines and electrical repairs.

Keep records of all maintenance, repairs, and spare parts usage.

Qualifications & Skills:

ITI Fitter / ITI in Mechanical or Electrical trade (mandatory).

3–4 years of experience in fitting, mechanical maintenance, and electrical repair in manufacturing/production industry (FMCG/food industry preferred).

Practical experience in wiring, motors, electrical panels, and troubleshooting.

Hands-on experience with machine fitting, repair, and workshop tools.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team.

Knowledge of safety practices and industry standards.
