2-wheeler mechanic

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced 2-Wheeler Technician to join our refurbishment facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in overhauling engines and gearboxes of commuter motorcycles and scooters commonly found in the Indian market. You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing mechanical and electrical repairs, and ensuring every vehicle meets the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Perform complete engine and gearbox overhauls on:

o   Commuter motorcycles (e.g., Hero Splendor, HF Deluxe, Honda Shine, Bajaj Pulsar 125/150)

o   Scooters (e.g., Honda Activa, TVS Jupiter, TVS Ntorq)

·       Conduct general service including oil change, air filter, spark plug replacement, and lubrication.

·       Diagnose and repair suspension systems – front telescopic forks and rear shock absorbers.

·       Perform brake repairs – drum and disc, bleeding, pad/shoe replacement.

·       Conduct basic electrical diagnosis and repair – indicators, headlamp, brake switches, starter motor, wiring issues, etc.

·       Collaborate with the supervisor to ensure issues identified in the job card are addressed thoroughly.

·       Carry out test rides pre and post repair to identify faults and ensure successful resolution.

·       Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of panels, tools, and components during work.

·       Follow safety protocols and workshop SOPs diligently.

Candidate Requirements:

·       Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in 2-wheeler servicing and overhauling, especially commuter segment and scooters.

·       Technical Skills: Strong mechanical knowledge, familiar with standard tools and diagnostic methods.
