Job Title: SEO Manager
Job Summary:
An SEO Manager is responsible for improving a company's website visibility on search engines, increasing organic traffic, and driving qualified leads through effective search engine optimization strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
Perform on-page SEO optimization (meta tags, headings, internal linking, content optimization).
Manage off-page SEO activities, including link-building campaigns.
Conduct technical SEO audits and work with developers to resolve issues.
Monitor website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools.
Track keyword rankings, traffic, and conversions, and prepare performance reports.
Collaborate with content, marketing, and web development teams to optimize website content.
Stay up to date with search engine algorithm updates and SEO best practices.
Identify opportunities to improve website performance, user experience, and conversion rates.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of SEO principles and best practices
Keyword research and competitor analysis
On-page, off-page, and technical SEO
Google Analytics and Google Search Console
SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or Screaming Frog
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Content optimization and link-building strategies
Data analysis and reporting
Excellent communication and project management skills
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, IT, or a related field.
6 months - 1 years of experience in SEO or digital marketing (typical for an SEO Manager role).
Relevant SEO certifications are an advantage.
