Marketing SEO Executive

About the Role

Web and Pro Info Media is looking for an SEO Executive with at least 1 year of hands-on experience to manage and execute SEO activities for multiple clients across different industries, including Healthcare, Real Estate, Education, Restaurants, E-commerce, Corporate, Advertising and Local Businesses.

The candidate should have practical knowledge of On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, Technical SEO, Local SEO, Keyword Research and SEO Analytics and should be capable of independently handling day-to-day SEO activities.

Key Responsibilities

On-Page SEO

• Perform keyword research and identify relevant primary, secondary and long-tail keywords.

• Optimize website pages, including title tags, meta descriptions, H1-H6 headings, URLs and content.

• Implement internal linking strategies.

• Optimize images, alt tags and other on-page elements.

• Identify content gaps and suggest new SEO-focused pages and blog topics.

• Ensure website content follows current SEO best practices.

Off-Page SEO

• Plan and execute quality link-building activities.

• Build relevant and niche-specific backlinks.

• Manage business listings, citations and directory submissions.

• Conduct backlink analysis and monitor backlink quality.

• Perform competitor backlink research.

Technical SEO

• Conduct basic technical SEO audits.

• Identify issues related to crawling, indexing and website structure.

• Check sitemap.xml and robots.txt.

• Identify broken links, duplicate content and redirect issues.

• Monitor Core Web Vitals and basic page-speed issues.

• Coordinate with the development team for technical SEO fixes.

Local SEO

• Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles.

• Work on local citations and business directories.

• Perform local keyword research.

• Monitor local rankings and visibility.

• Support location-based SEO campaigns.

SEO Tools & Reporting

The candidate should be comfortable working with:

• Google Search Console

• Google Analytics 4

• Google Keyword Planner

• Google Trends

• Ahrefs / SEMrush

• Ubersuggest

• Screaming Frog

• Google PageSpeed Insights

• Microsoft Clarity

• WordPress and other CMS platforms

• Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, impressions, clicks and conversions.

• Prepare regular SEO performance reports.

• Analyze SEO data and identify opportunities for improvement.

Agency-Specific Responsibilities

As we work with multiple clients, the candidate should be able to:

• Handle SEO activities for multiple projects simultaneously.

• Understand different industries and target audiences.

• Follow individual client SEO strategies and requirements.

• Prepare monthly SEO activity plans.

• Maintain proper records of SEO activities.

• Coordinate with content writers, developers, designers and social media teams.

• Meet project deadlines and monthly SEO targets.

• Communicate SEO requirements clearly to the internal team.

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of practical SEO experience.

• Strong understanding of On-Page, Off-Page and Technical SEO.

• Good keyword research and competitor analysis skills.

• Knowledge of Local SEO and Google Business Profile.

• Understanding of Google Search Console and GA4.

• Basic understanding of website HTML and SEO-friendly website structure.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good understanding of search engine ranking factors.

• Ability to identify SEO issues and suggest solutions.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

• Willingness to learn new SEO tools and techniques.

AI & Modern SEO

Knowledge of AI-assisted SEO workflows will be an advantage.

The candidate should be comfortable using AI tools for:

• Keyword research and clustering

• Content ideas and briefs

• Competitor analysis

• SEO research

• Content optimization

• Data analysis

• SEO workflow automation

AI-generated content should not be used blindly. The candidate must understand SEO quality, search intent, originality and user experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.

• Diploma or certification in Digital Marketing/SEO will be an advantage.

• Relevant hands-on SEO experience is more important than formal qualifications.

Work From Office

This is a strictly Work From Office position in Lucknow.

The selected candidate will be required to work from the Web and Pro Info Media office during the designated working hours.

This is not a Work From Home or Remote position.

Freelancing Policy

This is a full-time position with Web and Pro Infomedia.

Freelancing, independent client handling or taking outside SEO projects while working with the agency is not permitted.

Candidates should be willing to dedicate their professional working hours and responsibilities to the agency.
