Key Responsibilities
Conduct keyword research for YouTube using tools and turn them into high‑impact titles, descriptions, and tags.
Optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, and tags for maximum discoverability and CTR on YouTube search and suggested feeds.
Perform YouTube channel audits and recommend on‑channel SEO improvements (playlists, channel keywords, end screens, etc.).
Analyse YouTube Analytics (impressions, CTR, watch time, retention, traffic sources) and turn insights into optimization strategies.
Collaborate with content creators, editors, and community managers to align video ideas with SEO opportunities and trending topics.
Stay updated on YouTube algorithm changes, best practices, and competitor channels in the entertainment / devotional / regional content space.
Create performance dashboards and periodic reports on views, subscribers, and SEO‑driven growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in YouTube SEO, or social media and freshers can be considered if you mention “trainee” or “junior”).
Hands‑on experience with YouTube Studio, YouTube Analytics, and basic SEO tools (e.g., TubeBuddy / VidIQ / Google Trends).
Strong understanding of YouTube search, suggestions, and how CTR, watch time, and retention affect rankings.
Good command of English; knowledge of Telugu and Hindi is a plus for Indian content.
Basic understanding of on‑page SEO concepts (titles, descriptions, keywords, metadata) and how they map to YouTube.
Familiarity with basic video editing and thumbnail design (Canva, Photoshop, etc.) is an advantage but not mandatory.
Preferred Skills
Experience managing entertainment, film, devotional, or music YouTube channels.
Knowledge of YouTube Shorts optimization and Shorts SEO best practices.
