Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including sourcing, vendor selection, negotiations, and contract management.
Identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and service standards.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to achieve the best value for the organization.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations, production, and warehouse teams to ensure uninterrupted supply.
Analyze market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain risks.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and applicable regulations.
Prepare procurement budgets, forecasts, and cost-saving initiatives.
Lead, mentor, and develop the purchasing team to achieve departmental objectives.
Track and report key procurement metrics, supplier performance, and cost savings.
Resolve supplier-related issues and implement corrective actions when required.
