Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for scaffolding, formwork, shuttering materials, steel components, and related construction supplies. The candidate will be responsible for vendor coordination, purchase planning, cost negotiation, and timely material procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle procurement of scaffolding, formwork, shuttering, steel, hardware, and construction-related materials

• Identify and develop reliable vendors and suppliers

• Compare quotations and negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and payment terms

• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely processing

• Coordinate with store, production, and project teams for material requirements

• Monitor inventory levels and avoid material shortages

• Ensure timely delivery of materials to sites and warehouse

• Maintain procurement records, invoices, and vendor databases

• Conduct market research for pricing and alternate suppliers

• Ensure quality compliance and cost-effective purchasing

• Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field

• 2–5 years of experience in procurement/purchase within construction, scaffolding, formwork, steel, or industrial materials industry

• Good negotiation and vendor management skills

• Knowledge of construction materials and procurement processes

• Strong coordination and communication abilities

• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP software, and purchase documentation

• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple vendors
