Job Description

Glaze Rocks Private Limited is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage purchasing activities, vendor coordination, quotations, and procurement processes. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely availability of required materials at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.

• Source materials, products, and services as per company requirements.

• Request and compare quotations from different vendors.

• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms.

• Prepare and process purchase orders.

• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.

• Maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.

• Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and pending requirements.

• Maintain accurate records of purchases, quotations, invoices, and vendor details.

• Coordinate with accounts, stores, and other departments regarding purchase

• Check the quality and quantity of received materials in coordination with the concerned team.

• Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, damaged materials, or incorrect supplies.

• Maintain and update vendor and purchase databases.

• Assist in maintaining optimum inventory levels and avoiding unnecessary purchases.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement / Vendor Management.

• Good negotiation and communication skills.

• Knowledge of purchase processes and vendor management.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications.

• Ability to compare quotations and analyze pricing.

• Strong follow-up and coordination skills.

• Good attention to detail and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Candidates who can work from the Wakad, Pune office are preferred.

• It is a Full Time Marketing job for candidates with 2 - 3 years of experience.
