Job Title: Public Relations Officer (PRO) – Branding & Specialty Promotion

Industry: Hospital / Healthcare

Location: Palghar

Reporting To: Management / Marketing Head / Administrator

Job Summary:

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) will be responsible for enhancing the hospital’s visibility, strengthening brand presence, and promoting key specialties. The role focuses on developing professional relationships with doctors, clinics, corporates, and referral sources while ensuring a positive public image of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

Branding & Promotion

Promote hospital services, facilities, and specialties to external stakeholders

Develop and maintain strong brand awareness in the local market

Coordinate with management for marketing & promotional initiatives

Represent the hospital at events, health camps, and promotional activities

Support digital and offline branding efforts

Specialty & Referral Development

Build relationships with referring doctors, clinics, and healthcare providers

Promote specialty departments (ICU, Surgery, Diagnostics, etc.)

Increase patient footfall through professional networking

Identify new business opportunities and referral channels

Maintain regular follow-ups with referral sources

Corporate & Institutional Relations

Develop connections with corporates, TPAs, and insurance representatives

Coordinate for corporate tie-ups and health checkup programs

Maintain professional hospital representation

Patient Coordination & Experience

Assist patients/attendants with guidance and service coordination

Handle concerns and ensure high patient satisfaction

Act as a bridge between patients and hospital departments

Required Skills:

Excellent communication & interpersonal abilities

Strong networking and relationship-building skills

Confidence in fieldwork & promotional activities

Professional presentation & attitude

Basic computer and reporting skills

Qualification:

Graduate in any discipline (preferred)

Background in healthcare / hospital marketing preferred

Experience:

Experience in hospital / healthcare / medical marketing preferred
