JD for role of Product Manager (Pharma) :-

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning

• Develop strategic and operational plans for assigned product(s) to drive revenue growth, improve market share, maximize profitability.

• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, prescription / sales data (e.g. CMARC / IMS etc.), gather feedback from doctors / KOLs / field force, to generate insights.

• Define brand positioning, segmentation, targeting, and develop promotional / communication themes.

Product Lifecycle & Launch

• Manage the product life cycle (PLC): from pre‑launch, launch, post launch, line extensions, dosage/formulation modifications.

• Prepare launch plans: sampling plan, forecasting, pricing, packaging / labelling, promotional / materials, regulatory & medical alignment.

Promotional / Brand Marketing & Execution

• Design and implement promotional strategies, promotion materials (visual aids, leaflets, LBLs, newsletters, digital campaigns, etc.).

• Coordinate with advertising / creative agencies and internal teams for production of promotional material.

• Plan and support field force (sales) activities, including training them in product knowledge, ensuring promotional messages are well understood and implemented.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Medical Affairs / Regulatory / R&D / Supply Chain / Finance / Operations to ensure alignment in product features, compliance, supply, budget, and documentation.

• Coordinate with logistics and operations for product / promo material distribution, ensuring availability in field.
