WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

— Deeply experienced in procurement. You have done this before — at scale and under pressure. You know how

to build vendor relationships, negotiate hard, and still keep everyone at the table.

— A natural scout. You are constantly looking for better sources, better prices, and better ways — and you find

them before anyone asks you to.

— Comfortable being on the move. Travel is not an inconvenience for you. It is how you get things done.

— Thick-skinned and composed. Vendors will pester you for payments. Emergencies will land at midnight. You

handle both without losing your cool.

— Analytical, but never at the cost of hard work. You can read a number and draw insight from it — but you

know that no spreadsheet substitutes for being on the ground.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO

— Be responsible for large volumes of procurement across verticals — feed, vaccines, and live animals. The

numbers you handle will be significant.

— Lead and mentor a team of procurement managers along with the procurement director — setting the bar,

building capability, and making sure the function runs like a machine.

— Scout and manage relationships with the country's best goat traders. Build pipelines that don't break.

— As we scale internationally — Indonesia, South Africa, the Middle East — you will be among the first to set up

systems there.
