Job Summary
We are looking for a highly analytical and result-driven Online Sales Strategist responsible for managing and optimizing the restaurant chain’s presence on online food delivery platforms such as Swiggy and Zomato.
The role will focus on online sales growth, pricing strategy, promotional planning, menu optimization, campaign management, and platform coordination. The candidate must possess strong analytical abilities, good understanding of data, and proficiency in Excel to drive performance through data-backed decision making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Online Platform Management
Manage and monitor all restaurant listings across Swiggy and Zomato dashboards.
Ensure accurate menu listings, pricing updates, product availability, and catalog management.
Monitor online order performance across all outlets.
2. Pricing Strategy
Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
Benchmark menu pricing against competitors in similar delivery zones.
Maintain balance between profit margins and platform competitiveness.
3. Promotion & Campaign Strategy
Plan and execute promotional campaigns including:
Platform discounts
Combo offers
Limited-time deals
Festive promotions
Optimize participation in platform-led marketing campaigns.
Evaluate ROI of promotional spends.
4. Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring
Analyze order data, conversion rates, menu performance, and customer behavior.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on:
Online sales
Order volume
Promotion effectiveness
Customer ratings and reviews
Use Excel and dashboard analytics to identify growth opportunities.
5. Coordination with Aggregator Platforms
Act as the primary point of contact with Swiggy and Zomato account managers.
Coordinate with platform teams for:
Technical glitches
Order flow issues
Menu update errors
Payment reconciliation issues
Listing optimization
6. Customer Experience Monitoring
Monitor ratings and reviews across delivery platforms.
Coordinate with operations teams to resolve customer complaints.
Identify recurring issues affecting ratings and take corrective actions.
7. Sales Growth & Business Expansion
Identify opportunities to increase online order volumes.
Suggest menu changes, combos, and pricing improvements.
Monitor competitor performance and market trends.
