Position Overview
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, developing new business, and ensuring customer satisfaction for printed Paperboard Packaging. The role requires strong industry knowledge, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Lead Generation
Identify and target new clients in FMCG, pharma, food & confectionery, electrical products, and manufacturing sectors.
Generate leads through field visits, market research, and networking.
Prepare and present product proposals to potential customers.
2. Client Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business.
Handle customer concerns, complaints, and service requirements.
Conduct regular client meetings and follow-ups for order performance.
3. Sales Planning & Revenue Achievement
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
Prepare sales forecasts, pipelines, and MIS reports.
4. Coordination with Production & Design Teams
Coordinate with production, design, and dispatch teams for smooth order execution.
Ensure timely approvals of samples, proofs, and artworks.
Track dispatch schedules and ensure timely delivery.
5. Pricing, Negotiation & Order Closing
Prepare quotations based on material cost, printing specs, and production capacity.
Negotiate pricing and close deals effectively.
Ensure proper documentation—PO, artwork approvals, delivery challans, etc.
Required Skills & Competencies
Minimum 2years experience in sales (preferably in printed mono-cartons and packaging material industry).
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Should be well versed in the usage of various AI resources for marketing.
Ability to manage multiple clients and high-volume targets.
Good understanding of printing processes.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Willingness to travel within South India.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Printing technology, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
MBA preferred but not mandatory.
