Responsibilities of the Intern:

  • Collect buyer databases from embassies, chambers of commerce, B2B portals, Yellow Pages directories, exhibition lists, e-marketplaces, LinkedIn, etc.

  • Contact potential buyers and generate sales inquiries

  • Prepare price quotations with proper export costing calculations (logistics, insurance, CFA charges, etc.)

  • Negotiate trade payment terms and close deals

  • Analyze market trends and compile country-specific product and market data in Excel

  • Create product catalogues using Canva or similar tools

Requirements:

  • Research exportable trending products

  • Identify a low-value, high-margin export product from India

  • Contact suppliers/manufacturers to collect pricing, brochures, and catalogs

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Basic knowledge of export documentation and costing (preferred)
