ob Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Medical Representative to join our Veterinary Pathology Lab in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting diagnostic services to veterinary professionals, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth. A strong understanding of the veterinary healthcare ecosystem, along with experience in medical sales, is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales & Marketing:

Develop and execute sales strategies to promote the lab’s veterinary diagnostic services in line with organizational goals.

Client Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with veterinary doctors, clinics, hospitals, and pet care providers.

Market Research & Analysis:

Conduct regular market analysis to identify new opportunities, client needs, and industry trends within the veterinary sector.

Sales Target Achievement:

Proactively implement initiatives to achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets. Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed.

Revenue Generation:

Focus on driving growth through service promotions, upselling, and territory development. Contribute to the overall profitability of the business.

Territory Management:

Conduct regular visits to veterinary clinics, hospitals, and related establishments in Siliguri and surrounding areas.

Event Coordination:

Organize and oversee veterinary meets and promotional events. Ensure maximum participation and brand visibility.

Campaign Execution:

Plan and implement marketing campaigns across various channels to increase awareness and adoption of the lab's services.

Content & Communication:

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop educational and promotional materials tailored for the veterinary community.

Brand Representation:

Uphold the brand's image and ensure consistent messaging in all interactions and communications.

Reporting & Analytics:

Maintain accurate records of sales activities and generate regular performance reports. Use data insights to guide future strategies.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with internal departments such as operations, logistics, and customer service to ensure client satisfaction and smooth service delivery.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science, Life Sciences, Marketing, or related field

MBA or equivalent qualification in Marketing/Sales is a plus

2–3 years of experience as a Medical Representative, preferably in the veterinary sector

Strong understanding of veterinary diagnostics, services, and the pet healthcare ecosystem

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools

Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region

Male Candidates are preffered and 2 wheeler is required

Preferred Background:

Experience in veterinary diagnostics or pharmaceutical sales
