Marketing Executive

Role summary: Manage the brand's digital presence and run marketing campaigns that drive engagement, visibility, and growth, with exposure to pharma/life sciences marketing.

Responsibilities

1. Content development

• Write content for brochures, flyers, presentations, and digital platforms with cross-functional teams

• Keep brand voice, tone, and messaging consistent

• Turn technical product information into customer-friendly language

2. Marketing collateral

• Design social posts, banners, brochures, emailers, catalogues, presentations, and corporate profiles

• Maintain a central repository with version control

• Support logo adaptations and campaign creatives

3. Brand governance

• Enforce brand guidelines

• Standardize templates and formats across departments

4. Cross-functional coordination

• Work with Sales, Marketing Ops, and Leadership

• Support internal and external communications

• Align content with launches, events, and business priorities

5. Performance marketing support

• Track email open rate, CTR, and conversions

• Help optimize campaigns across social platforms

• Handle posting, scheduling, and engagement (comments, messages)

• Suggest lifecycle engagement strategies (onboarding, retention, feedback)

• Create templates for email, WhatsApp, and follow-ups

6. Content calendar

• Own the monthly social media calendar, aligned with events, campaigns, and launches

7. Website

• Update products, blogs, banners, and announcements

• Coordinate with developers when needed

• Keep content aligned with campaigns

• Monitor basic SEO (keywords, meta tags)

8. Marketing automation

• Run campaigns across social, email, and WhatsApp

• Build email journeys (welcome, follow-up, nurture)

• Coordinate paid campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads)

• Knowledge of Odoo CRM

• Roll out creatives on time

9. Competitor benchmarking

• Track competitor campaigns and industry trends

10. Vendor operations (new)

• Coordinate with external vendors (printers, freelancers, designers, agencies, ad and media partners)

• Collect quotes, compare options, and support negotiations

• Track deliverables, timelines, and quality against briefs

• Handle purchase orders, invoice verification, and payment follow-ups with the finance team

• Maintain a vendor database with contacts, rates, and performance notes

• Build and maintain relationships with reliable vendors

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, or Advertising. Value-adds are Advertising & PR, Digital Marketing, Brand Management, or a degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related field.

Skills:

• Hands-on social media management

• Graphic design (Canva, Illustrator, or Photoshop)

• CMS familiarity (WordPress or similar)

• SEO and email marketing basics

• Strong writing and communication

• Multitasking and meeting deadlines

• Working independently and in teams
