Marketing Ecommerce Account Manager

An Assistant E-commerce Operations Executive supports the daily online selling activities of a company on platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho and the company website.

Main Responsibilities

1. Order Processing

   • Check new online orders.

   • Generate invoices, labels and packing slips.

   • Coordinate with the warehouse for timely packing and dispatch.

   • Track delayed, cancelled and undelivered orders.

2. Product Listing Management

   • Upload new products on marketplaces and the website.

   • Update titles, descriptions, images, prices, GST, HSN codes and product specifications.

   • Correct listing errors and suppressed or inactive listings.

3. Inventory Management

   • Update stock quantities on all online platforms.

   • Coordinate with stores and warehouses for stock availability.

   • Prevent overselling and out-of-stock situations.

   • Maintain records of damaged, returned and missing inventory.

4. Returns and Refunds

   • Monitor customer returns, replacements and refunds.

   • Verify whether the correct product has been returned.

   • Coordinate with the warehouse and accounts team for returned stock.

   • Raise claims for wrong, damaged or missing returns.

5. Customer Support

   • Respond to customer queries regarding products, delivery, returns and cancellations.

   • Handle complaints professionally.

   • Coordinate with marketplace support teams to resolve customer issues.

6. Marketplace Account Management

   • Check account health, performance notifications and policy violations.

   • Raise support tickets with Amazon, Flipkart or other platforms.

   • Resolve payment, listing, order and delivery-related issues.

   • Monitor seller ratings and customer feedback.

7. Pricing and Promotions

   • Update product prices and discounts.

   • Assist in creating offers, coupons and promotional campaigns.

   • Check whether discounts are applied correctly.

   • Monitor competitor prices when instructed.

8. Reports and Reconciliation

   • Prepare daily and weekly sales reports.

   • Track orders, returns, cancellations and pending dispatches.

   • Match marketplace payments with orders.

   • Report payment deductions, penalties and settlement differences.

9. Coordination

   • Coordinate with the warehouse, accounts, graphic-design, marketing and customer-support teams.

   • Ensure correct products are packed and dispatched within the required timeline.

   • Share operational problems with the reporting manager.

Important Skills

The candidate should have good knowledge of Excel, email, online marketplaces, order processing, product listings and basic inventory management. The person should be accurate, organised, responsible and comfortable working with data.
