Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive E-commerce Manager to manage and optimize our presence across multiple online marketplaces including Amazon Seller, Amazon Seller Flex, Flipkart, JioMart, Myntra, 1MG, Own Website along with other emerging e-commerce platforms. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end marketplace operations, ensuring sales growth, brand visibility, and seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketplace Management:
Create new listings with:
· Product title (SEO optimized).
· Bullet points (features & benefits).
· Description / A+ content / Rich Content.
· Backend keywords.
· UPC / EAN / GTIN (or apply for exemption)
· Upload high-quality images (white background + lifestyle shots)
· Submit documents such as Brand authorization letter & Product certifications (FSSAI, BIS, etc. depending on category) if required.
Handle day-to-day operations:
Order & Inventory Management:
· Monitor and process orders, returns, and cancellations
· Maintain inventory synchronization across all portals
· Ensure accurate pricing, stock availability, and order processing across all platforms
Product research & Strategy
· Identify demand, competition, and pricing
· Analyze similar listings, reviews, and keywords
· Suggest your USP (price, quality, design, bundle, etc.)
Create Shipping Methods
· Easy Ship / Self Ship Templates and use it in various SKUs
Launch Marketing & Visibility
Content updates (titles, descriptions, images, keywords).
· Manage marketplace ads (Amazon Ads, Flipkart Ads, etc.)
· Use keywords for SEO ranking
· Participate in sales events (Great Indian Festival, etc.)
· External traffic (Knowledge of Digital Marketing including SEO & SMO) (Instagram, website, influencers)
· Plan and execute digital campaigns to drive traffic and sales
· Coordinate with internal/external marketing teams for brand campaigns
· Set up deals, coupons, and lightning deals.
Reviews & Ratings Strategy
· Get initial reviews (organically)
· Use “Request a Review” feature
· Maintain good service to improve ratings
Order Management & Customer Service
· Track orders, returns, refunds
· Respond to customer queries
· Handle negative feedback professionally
· Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally
· Ensure high seller ratings and customer satisfaction
Performance Monitoring & Scaling & Optimization & Reporting.
· Track key metrics like Conversion rate / Buy Box percentage & Ad performance (ACOS, ROAS), sales performance & traffic.
· Optimize listings & Improve listing content (A+ content) regularly.
· Expand to more SKUs/variations
· Spending on Ads Strategically
· Expand to other marketplaces
· Plan and execute promotional campaigns, discounts, and deals
· Optimize listings using SEO techniques to improve visibility and rankings
· Generate regular MIS reports on sales, inventory, and performance metrics
· Analyze competitor activity and market trends
· Provide actionable insights for business growth
· Reconciliation of Payments, Returns and Dispatches.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or related field
2–5 years of experience in handling e-commerce marketplaces
Hands-on experience with platforms like Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, etc.
Strong understanding of online sales, digital marketing, and marketplace algorithms
Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis
Good communication and coordination skills
