The role includes product listing, pricing, promotions, order & return management, payment reconciliation, and coordination with internal teams to achieve sales and profitability targets.---Key Responsibilities1. Marketplace & Account ManagementHandle seller accounts on all assigned platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.).Maintain account health: dispatch performance, cancellation rate, SLA, ratings, returns, penalties.Coordinate with marketplace account managers for promotions, events, and issue resolution.2. Product Listing & Catalogue ManagementCreate and update product listings (titles, descriptions, images, bullet points, keywords, categories).Ensure correct pricing, stock status, and offers on all portals.Optimize listings for visibility and conversion (SEO within marketplace).3. Sales Growth & PromotionsPlan and execute offers, deals, coupons, and campaigns during sale periods and regular days.Track daily / weekly / monthly sales and work to meet targets.Identify bestsellers and slow movers; propose actions such as bundling, promotions, or delisting.4. Order Processing & CoordinationMonitor orders from all portals and ensure timely processing and dispatch.Coordinate with warehouse / dispatch team for packing, labeling, and shipping as per portal norms.Track deliveries, handle RTO (Return to Origin) cases, and reduce cancellations.5. Returns, Claims & Customer IssuesMonitor product returns, replacements, and refunds and work to reduce the return ratio.File claims / reimbursement requests with marketplaces for lost / damaged shipments when applicable.Support customer service team in resolving queries, feedback, and negative reviews.6. Accounts & ReconciliationDownload settlement and payment reports from each marketplace.Reconcile sales, commissions, shipping fees, returns, and penalties with the accounts team.Identify and raise disputes for over-charges, short payments, or incorrect fee deductions.7. Reporting & AnalyticsPrepare MIS reports: sales, margins, returns %, product-wise and category-wise performance.Monitor KPIs like GMV, net margin, order volume, ASP (Average Selling Price), and conversion.Share insights and improvement plans with management.8. Ads & Campaigns (If Applicable)Manage marketplace ads (e.g., Amazon Sponsored Ads) – create campaigns, manage keywords & budget.Coordinate with digital marketing for traffic on company website, Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.9. Process, Policy & ComplianceEnsure compliance with marketplace policies, listing rules, and GST requirements.Maintain SOPs for listing, order processing, returns, and account management.---Job RequirementsEducationGraduate / Post-Graduate in Commerce, Business, Marketing or a related field.Experience2–4 years of hands-on experience in managing e-commerce marketplace accounts (Amazon / Flipkart / others).Experience in automotive / tools / industrial products will be an added advantage (preferred but not mandatory).Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of e-commerce seller panels and dashboards.Good working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, basic formulas).Familiarity with inventory / ERP / CRM systems (advantage).Basic understanding of GST on e-commerce transactions.Experience in running marketplace ads (Amazon Ads, etc.) is an added plus.Behavioural & Soft SkillsStrong numerical and analytical ability.Attention to detail and high accuracy in data work.Good written and verbal communication skills.Ownership mindset and problem-solving attitude.Ability to coordinate with sales, accounts, warehouse, and management.Comfortable working under pressure during peak seasons and month-end.---Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Monthly sales and profit per marketplace.Account health (late dispatch %, cancellation %, customer rating, performance score).Return & RTO percentage.Accuracy of listings (minimal complaints about wrong price/description).Timely and correct reconciliation with marketplaces.
