Ecommerce Account Manager

An e-commerce manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a company's online sales presence, including website design, functionality, user experience, and digital marketing campaigns. They drive revenue growth, optimize online transactions, and enhance the overall customer experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Website Management:

  Overseeing the design, development, and functionality of the e-commerce website, ensuring it is user-friendly and optimized for conversions. 

• Digital Marketing:

  Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, and social media campaigns, to drive traffic and increase sales. 

• Sales Optimization:

  Analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and implementing strategies to improve conversion rates, reduce cart abandonment, and increase average order value. 

• Customer Experience:

  Ensuring a seamless and positive online shopping experience, from product browsing to checkout and post-purchase support. 

• Team Collaboration:

  Working closely with marketing, sales, IT, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of e-commerce strategies. 

• Data Analysis:

  Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing data, and generating reports to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions. 

• Security and Maintenance:

  Ensuring the website is secure, protecting customer data, and managing any technical issues or glitches that may arise. 

• Budgeting and Reporting:

  Assisting in budgeting, tracking expenses, and reporting on e-commerce performance to stakeholders. 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

• Proven experience in e-commerce and digital marketing (typically 3-5 years).

• Strong understanding of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.

• Familiarity with various digital marketing channels and strategies.

• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and technologies.

• Leadership and team management skills (if managing a team).
