E-Commerce Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented E-Commerce Executive to manage and grow our online sales channels. The candidate will be responsible for product listing, catalog management, order processing, inventory coordination, marketplace operations, promotions, and basic performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of e-commerce marketplaces and company online stores.
Create, update, and maintain product listings, titles, descriptions, specifications, images, pricing, and keywords.
Manage product catalogs and ensure accurate product information across platforms.
Process and monitor customer orders from order placement to dispatch and delivery.
Coordinate with the warehouse, production, dispatch, and accounts teams for smooth order fulfillment.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock updates to avoid stock-outs or excess inventory.
Handle order cancellations, returns, replacements, refunds, and customer complaints.
Monitor product pricing and competitor listings.
Coordinate marketplace promotions, offers, discounts, and campaigns.
Track product performance, sales, orders, returns, and other e-commerce metrics.
Prepare regular reports for sales, inventory, orders, and marketplace performance.
Identify products with low sales and suggest improvements in pricing, content, images, or promotions.
Ensure product listings follow marketplace guidelines and requirements.
Coordinate with the creative team for product images, banners, A+ content, and promotional creatives.
Monitor customer reviews and ratings and coordinate for appropriate responses/actions.
Support SEO optimization of product listings using relevant keywords.
Maintain proper records of marketplace orders, payments, returns, and deductions.
Identify operational issues on marketplaces and coordinate with marketplace support teams for resolution.

Technical Skills

Good knowledge of Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, IndiaMART, or other e-commerce platforms.
Experience with Seller Central / Seller Panels / Marketplace Dashboards.
Knowledge of product listing and catalog management.
Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
Understanding of Excel functions such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, filters, sorting, Pivot Tables, and basic formulas is preferred.
Basic knowledge of e-commerce SEO and keyword optimization.
Knowledge of product image and A+ content requirements.
Understanding of order management, inventory management, returns, and marketplace processes.
Basic knowledge of Google Analytics / marketplace analytics is an advantage.
Familiarity with ERP, inventory, or order-management software is preferred.

Qualification

Graduate in B.Com, BBA, MBA, or any relevant field.
1–3 years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace management, online sales, or a related role.
Freshers with relevant e-commerce knowledge and strong practical skills may also be considered.
