We are seeking a results-driven Google Ads Executive to take ownership of our paid search
strategy and execution for a fast-growing UK e-commerce brand. This role requires hands-on
expertise in Google Ads, Google Shopping, and performance marketing, with a focus on
driving online sales and maximising Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, build, and manage Google Ads campaigns (Search, Shopping, Display,
YouTube).
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and audience segmentation.
• Manage Google Merchant Center and optimise product feeds.
• Write, test, and refine ad copy tailored to UK consumer behaviour and seasonal
trends.
• Monitor campaign performance; optimise bids, budgets, and targeting to hit ROAS
goals.
• Implement advanced tracking: conversion tracking, remarketing, and audience
strategies.
• Analyse campaign data using Google Analytics, GA4, and Tag Manager.
• Partner with e-commerce, creative, and analytics teams to support launches and
promotions.
• Stay updated on Google Ads policies, platform updates, and UK retail/e-commerce
trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Minimum 2+ years of experience managing Google Ads for e-commerce brands.
• Proven expertise in Google Shopping & Merchant Center.
• Google Ads Certification (preferred).
• Strong skills in Google Analytics (GA4), Tag Manager, and Looker Studio.
• Experience with feed management tools (e.g., DataFeedWatch, Channable).
• Familiarity with Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar e-commerce platforms.
• Excellent analytical, copywriting, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
• Experience running campaigns on Meta Ads or Bing Ads.
• Knowledge of SEO, CRO, and multi-channel attribution.
• Experience with A/B testing and landing page optimisation.
