E-Commerce Executive – Job Description
The E-Commerce Executive is responsible for managing online marketplace operations, improving product visibility, and driving sales across platforms like Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, Etsy, and company website. The role includes product listing, catalog management, order processing, inventory coordination, and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Management
Handle daily operations on Amazon, Myntra, Etsy, Flipkart, etc.
Create, update, and optimize product listings (titles, descriptions, keywords, categories).
Ensure catalog accuracy, pricing updates, and compliance with platform guidelines.
Order & Inventory Handling
Process daily orders, coordinate with warehouse for dispatch, packing, and delivery.
Track inventory levels, avoid stock-outs, and update SKUs regularly.
Manage returns, replacements, and customer escalations.
Product Optimization
Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis for better ranking.
Improve product pages with better images, A+ content, and SEO.
Monitor reviews & ratings and take steps to improve product perception.
Marketing & Promotions
Set up deals, discounts, coupons, and participate in sale events.
Work with marketplace support to solve listing or account issues.
Track advertisement performance (Amazon Ads, Myntra Ads, Etsy Ads).
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare sales reports, traffic insights, and weekly/monthly performance dashboards.
Study sales trends and demand patterns to guide future planning.
Analyze competitor pricing and update strategic pricing.
