About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive E-commerce Intern who is eager to learn and contribute to various aspects of our online business operations. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of e-commerce, working alongside experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and have a genuine interest in digital marketing and online sales.
Responsibilities:
As an E-commerce Intern, you will be involved in:
Product Management: Assisting with product listing, optimization, and inventory management on various e-commerce platforms.
Content Creation: Helping to write compelling product descriptions, update website content, and ensure consistency in brand messaging.
Digital Marketing Support: Supporting the execution of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media promotion, and search engine optimization (SEO) efforts.
Market Research: Conducting research on market trends, competitor analysis, and customer behavior to identify new opportunities.
Analytics & Reporting: Assisting in tracking website performance, sales data, and campaign effectiveness, contributing to reports.
Customer Service: Providing support in handling customer inquiries and ensuring a positive online shopping experience.
Platform Management: Learning to navigate and manage e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, Amazon Seller Central – mention specific platforms if applicable).
Ad-hoc Tasks: Supporting the e-commerce team with various administrative and operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, Communications, or a related field.
Strong interest in e-commerce, digital marketing, and online retail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with social media platforms and basic understanding of digital marketing concepts.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Prior experience with e-commerce platforms or basic graphic design tools is a plus, but not required.
