Location: Field-based (community/center-based)
Job Purpose
The Community Officer will work at the grassroots level to mobilize youth (18–35 years), facilitate their enrollment in skill development programs, ensure smooth training implementation, and support placement or self-employment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Community Mobilization & Outreach
Conduct door-to-door surveys, community meetings, and awareness sessions on skill development programs
Mobilize youth (18–35 years) from local communities, slums, villages, and urban clusters
Coordinate with local leaders, SHGs, panchayats, NGOs, and institutions
2. Candidate Identification & Enrollment
Identify eligible candidates as per scheme guidelines
Support registration, documentation, and batch formation
Maintain accurate beneficiary records and attendance
3. Training Coordination
Coordinate with trainers and training centers for smooth delivery of courses
Ensure candidate participation, discipline, and retention
Address basic issues faced by trainees during training
4. Counseling & Motivation
Counsel youth on career pathways, skill relevance, and employment opportunities
Motivate dropouts to rejoin training
Support soft skills, confidence building, and workplace readiness
5. Placement & Post-Training Support
Assist in placement drives, employer coordination, and job fairs
Track post-placement retention and follow-ups
Support candidates opting for self-employment or entrepreneurship
6. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain daily field reports, mobilization data, and MIS entries
Share weekly/monthly progress reports with project team
Support audits, monitoring visits, and impact documentation
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum qualification: 12th pass / Graduate (preferred)
Experience: 0–3 years in NGO, community work, skill development, education, or social sector
Freshers with strong community connect can also apply
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong communication skills (local language mandatory)
Ability to work in the field and with diverse communities
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, data entry, WhatsApp reporting)
Empathy, patience, and problem-solving attitude
Willingness to travel locally Preferred Candidates

Experience in PMKVY, DDU-GKY, NULM, DAY, or CSR skill projects
