Hands-on Experience: MIG Welding (Metal Inert Gas) and MAG (Metal Active Gas Welding) handson experience for 3-4years
Material Preparation: Cleaning, cutting, beveling edges, removing rust/paint/oil.
Fit-Up & Alignment: Positioning parts, tack welding, ensuring correct dimensions.
Equipment Setup: Selecting electrodes/filler rods, setting machine parameters, checking shielding gas flow.
Executing Welds: Performing welding as per WPS (Welding Procedure Specification).
Monitoring Parameters: Heat input, travel speed, gas coverage.
Maintaining Safety: Using PPE (helmet, gloves, apron), ensuring proper ventilation.
Cleaning Welds: Removing slag, spatter, and performing surface finishing.
Inspection Assistance: Visual checks, supporting NDT (radiography, ultrasonic).
Documentation: Recording weld details if required by quality systems.
Handling Tools & Consumables: Managing electrodes, filler wires, gas cylinders.
Housekeeping: Keeping the work area clean and safe.
Supporting Quality Control: Assisting inspectors, repairing defects if instructed.
Shift working: The candidate should works across all shifts, as per organisations requirement
Medically Fit: The candidate should be medically fit for welding operations and Maximum age limit should be 30 years
