Qualification & Certification:

• ITI in Mechanical, Welding Technology, or equivalent.

Experience:

• Min 3 years of experience in welding using GMAW (2G, 2F, 3F, 4F) and FCAW (2G) preferably in heavy fabrication environment

•.Must clear Caterpillar weld qualification before production deployment.

Salary: 36000rs Gross

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform salvaging welding using GMAW (2G, 2F, 3F, 4F) and FCAW (2G).

• Carry out TIG toe dressing to improve weld quality and appearance.

• Perform arc gouging to remove defective welds or material.

• Independently handle grinding, weld preparation, and surface finishing.

• Ensure welds meet Caterpillar quality standards and inspection requirements.

• Punch welder ID on assigned weld joints for traceability.

• Maintain 5S and housekeeping at the workstation.

• Follow all safety guidelines and PPE requirements.

• Report progress, issues, and deviations to the supervisor.

Training & Requalification:

• Attend Caterpillar welding and safety training. Must Clear this training to be permitted in the shop floor. Training Period 5-10 days.

• Periodic requalification based on performance, audits, or specification changes.

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 1 - 6+ years Experience.
