Job description

·       Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings: Understanding design specifications, welding symbols, and material requirements to plan welding operations accordingly.

·       Fabricating and assembling structural components: Cutting, shaping, fitting, and joining metal sections (like beams, columns, and plates) using TIG and MIG welding techniques.

·       Operating and maintaining welding equipment: Setting up TIG and MIG welding machines, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards, and performing routine maintenance.

·       Performing welding operations: Executing precision welds on various metals, such as mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, maintaining clean and precise welds, and ensuring adherence to specifications.

·       Quality control and inspection: Inspecting completed welds for adherence to standards, identifying and addressing defects, and conducting necessary repairs or adjustments.

·       Adhering to safety protocols: Following safety guidelines and procedures at all times, wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

·       Collaborating with teams: Working effectively with engineers, project managers, and other welders to meet project timelines and specifications.

·       Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving welding-related issues during fabrication and repair processes.

7 am to 3 pm

3 pm to 11 pm

Interview process

-          Experience Candidate they will ask them to explain structural design as well as give the practical demo of welding at the plant site

-          In case of remote location their would-be virtual call, were they have to explain the design which they would show to them.
