Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols

  • Set up and operate MIG welding machines and related equipment

  • Weld metal components according to specifications and quality standards

  • Measure, cut, and prepare materials before welding

  • Inspect completed welds for strength, accuracy, and defects

  • Perform grinding, finishing, and cleanup of welded parts

  • Maintain welding tools and equipment

  • Follow workplace safety procedures and use protective equipment

  • Work with steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and other metals
