Job Description

We are hiring experienced MIG Welders for fabrication, assembly and repair of metal components using MIG welding techniques.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in MIG welding, fabrication, fitting, drawing reading and weld finishing.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and set up MIG welding machines.

• Read and understand blueprints, technical drawings and welding symbols.

• Measure, cut, fit and assemble metal components.

• Select suitable welding wire, shielding gas and machine settings.

• Perform MIG welding in different positions as required.

• Check completed welds for quality, strength and defects.

• Carry out grinding, cleaning and finishing of welded components.

• Maintain welding machines, tools and equipment.

• Follow all workplace safety procedures and use required PPE.

• Report welding defects, machine issues and safety concerns.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on MIG welding experience.

• Metal fabrication and fitting.

• Ability to read fabrication drawings and blueprints.

• Measuring and layout skills.

• Basic knowledge of welding defects and quality inspection.

• Knowledge of welding safety procedures.

• Good hand-eye coordination.

• Ability to work as part of a production/fabrication team.

Qualification

• High School / 10th / equivalent.

• ITI / Welding Certification / Vocational Training preferred.

Candidate Preference

Candidates should have minimum 3 years of practical MIG welding experience and should be comfortable with:

• MIG Welding

• Fabrication & Fit-Up

• Drawing Reading

• Machine Setting

• Weld Inspection

• Grinding & Finishing
