Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Welder with hands-on expertise in SPM (Special Purpose Machine) fabrication and assembly. The ideal candidate should be skilled in various welding techniques and understand engineering drawings and tolerances related to machine fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding operations (MIG/TIG/ARC) on mild steel, stainless steel, etc., as per specifications.

• Fabricate and assemble parts for Special Purpose Machines (SPMs).

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.

• Use appropriate tools and equipment for accurate and safe welding.

• Conduct quality checks to ensure high precision and finishing.

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

• Work closely with the fabrication and assembly team for machine development.

Requirements:

• ITI / Diploma in Welding or Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in welding, preferably in SPM or machine fabrication.

• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Strong understanding of fabrication tolerances and welding quality standards.

• Knowledge of machine shop tools and basic fitting work is a plus.

• Physically fit and able to work on the shop floor.
