Equipment Fabrication & Repair: Weld, cut, and straighten worn or damaged metal components on fire service appliances, ambulances, and utility vehicles. [1]
Apparatus Maintenance: Operate electric, manual, and gas welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick) to fix ladders, chassis, and heavy mobile plants. [1, 2, 3]
Emergency Response: Promptly respond to fires, medical emergencies, vehicle accidents, and hazardous spills when necessary, providing primary or additional cover. [1, 2]
Safety & Compliance: Ensure all metal repairs meet strict OSHA and ISO safety practices and welding standards. [1, 2]
Equipment Inspection: Test and inspect welded surfaces for flaws. Perform preventative maintenance on fire hoses, pumps, and trucks. [1, 2, 3]
