Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate TIG/argon welding etc equipment to fabricate metal components.​

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions for each job.​

• Prepare welding joints, including cleaning, trimming, and aligning metals to required specifications.​

• Select appropriate materials and filler metals according to welding procedure and material type.​

• Perform welding in various positions (flat, vertical, overhead) while maintaining high-quality standards.​

• Inspect and test welds visually and with tools to ensure adherence to specifications and quality guidelines.​

• Maintain welding equipment and workspace, logging maintenance when necessary.​

• Follow all safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operating procedures.​
