Key Responsibilities

Perform CO₂ (MIG) welding on MS sheet metal, fabricated parts, and assemblies.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
Set up and operate CO₂ welding machines according to job requirements.
Ensure proper fit-up, alignment, and dimensional accuracy before welding.
Inspect welds for quality and rectify defects when required.
Use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, steel rulers, and gauges.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality requirements.
Maintain welding equipment and keep the work area clean.
Adhere to all safety regulations and use appropriate PPE.
Meet daily production targets while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
