A plastic welder joins and repairs plastic parts using heat, hot air, and pressure. Key tasks include reading blueprints, operating extrusion or hot-air tools, and inspecting finished joints.

Job Responsibilities-

Weld and Fabricate: Join sheets, pipes, or molded components using hot gas, extrusion, or ultrasonic welding.
Read Blueprints: Interpret technical drawings and schematics to plan work.
Prepare Materials: Clean, cut, bevel, and line up plastic edges before starting.
Inspect Quality: Test finished welds for strength, leaks, and smooth finishes.
Maintain Tools: Clean and care for welding guns, extruders, and safety gear.
