We are looking for an Argon Welder to join our team . The role involves operating machinery, assembling products, and maintaining quality standards on the production floor. This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹20,000 - ₹30,000 and an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential industry.
Core Responsibilities
Reading and interpreting blueprints
Understand technical drawings, welding symbols, and job specifications before starting work.
Preparing materials
Clean and align metal surfaces, remove rust/oil, and ensure proper fit-up before welding.
Setting up equipment
Adjust welding machines, select the right tungsten electrode, filler material, and argon gas flow.
Performing welding tasks
Use argon shielding gas to produce high-quality, precise welds (often on stainless steel, aluminum, or thin metals).
Inspecting welds
Check finished welds for defects like cracks, porosity, or incomplete fusion.
Maintaining equipment
Regularly inspect and service welding tools and machines to ensure proper operation.
Safety Responsibilities
Follow workplace safety standards and procedures.
Wear proper PPE (helmet, gloves, protective clothing).
Handle gas cylinders (argon) safely.
Prevent fire hazards and ensure proper ventilation.
Quality & Documentation
Ensure welds meet required standards and tolerances.
Keep records of work completed and report any defects or issues.
Skills Required
Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
Knowledge of metallurgy and welding techniques
Basic math and measurement skills
