Welder

• Interpreting Blueprints and Specifications:

  Reading technical drawings, measurements, and specifications to understand project requirements and plan welding procedures. 

• Metal Preparation:

  Cleaning, grinding, cutting, and positioning metal components using tools like clamps, jigs, and fixtures to ensure proper alignment for welding. 

• Welding:

  Fusing metal pieces together using appropriate welding techniques and machinery, which may include electric arc, TIG, or MIG welding. 

• Equipment Operation:

  Safely operating and maintaining specialized welding and cutting equipment, such as torches, power supplies, and grinding machines. 

• Quality Control:

  Inspecting welded materials for flaws, assessing the quality of welds, and ensuring they meet project specifications and standards. 

• Safety Compliance:

  Adhering to all safety regulations and wearing the correct personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent injury in the workplace.
