Job Title: Welder What You Will Do Weld metal parts for solar panel frames Join steel beams and supports together Read plans (blueprints) to know where to weld Use stick (SMAW) and other welders Cut and grind metal to get it ready Check your welds to make sure they are strong Always follow safety rules Work with the construction team Keep your tools and work area clean What You Need You must be a certified welder (like AWS D1.1) You need experience in structural welding You must be able to read blueprints You must be able to work outside in hot or cold weather You must be able to lift heavy things (up to 50 lbs) You must put safety first A high school diploma or GED is needed You must be able to pass a weld test
