2. Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Welder to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for cutting, joining, and fabricating metal components using various welding techniques as per drawings and specifications, ensuring high quality and structural strength.

3. Roles and Responsibilities

Core Welding Work:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols

• Perform welding using MIG, TIG, ARC / SMAW, CO2 welding as required

• Cut, grind, and shape metal using gas cutters, grinders, and cutting machines

• Fabricate and assemble metal structures, frames, and components

• Check dimensions and alignment of workpieces using measuring instruments

Quality & Safety:

• Inspect welds for quality, strength, and defects; perform rework if needed

• Maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment in good condition

• Follow all safety procedures, use PPE (helmet, gloves, apron, safety shoes)

• Ensure workplace is clean and compliant with safety standards (OSHA/Factory norms)

• Maintain daily work log and material consumption report

4. Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Proven experience as a Welder / Fabricator

• Expertise in at least one: MIG Welding, TIG Welding, ARC Welding

• Ability to read fabrication drawings and weld symbols

• Knowledge of different metals - MS, SS, GI, Aluminium

• Knowledge of cutting tools - Gas cutting, Plasma cutting, Grinding

Other Requirements:

• ITI in Welder / Fitter Trade or Diploma in Mechanical - Preferred

• Welding certification (6G, 3G, etc.) is a big plus

• Physically fit and able to work in workshop/site conditions

• Age: 21 - 40 years

• Attention to detail and accuracy

5. Types - You can specify what you need:

• MIG Welder: For production, fabrication, sheet metal

• TIG Welder: For SS, precision and clean finish work

• ARC Welder / Structural Welder: For heavy structures, construction

• Welder + Fabricator: Can do both marking, cutting, and welding independently from drawing

6. Work Conditions

• Workshop / Factory / On-site work

• 6 days working, Overtime as per workload

• Must be willing to work shifts

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 0 - 6+ years Experience.
