Job Title: MID Welder (Metal Inert Gas Welder)

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

• Perform MIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminum.

• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment and ensure proper settings for various jobs.

• Prepare materials by cleaning, grinding, or cutting metal pieces prior to welding.

• Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications.

• Use measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and rulers to ensure accuracy.

• Maintain equipment and tools, performing minor repairs as needed.

• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality control to meet production goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·       Ability to read technical documents and engineering drawings.

·       Strong understanding of metal properties and welding techniques.

·       Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
