Job Description:
Operate CNC turning/milling machines as per daily production plan.
Operate automatic/robotic MIG welding machines according to production schedules.
Set up tools, fixtures, and work pieces according to job requirements.
Set welding parameters such as voltage, wire feed speed, and gas flow based on job requirements.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications.
Load and position work pieces or fixtures correctly in the welding station.
Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality.
Inspect welded joints for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure all parts meet quality standards.
Perform basic machine setup, calibration, and adjustments to maintain weld consistency.
Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities or breakdowns immediately.
Record production data, machine parameters, and any issues encountered.
Maintain welding consumables (wire, nozzles, gas) and report shortages.
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean working environment.
Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and use appropriate PPE at all times.
Report machine breakdowns or abnormalities to the supervisor immediately.
Support continuous improvement and process efficiency initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
ITI / Diploma in Welder, Fitter, or related mechanical trade.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1–3 years of experience in MIG welding; experience with automatic/robotic welding is preferred.
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, Turner, Machinist or related trade.
Basic understanding of welding parameters, fixtures, and jigs.
1–3 years of experience in CNC operating (turning/milling).
Basic understanding of CNC programming (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi preferred).
Knowledge of measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height gauge, etc.).
