Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
Perform welding operations using ARC, MIG, TIG, or Gas Welding as per job requirements.
Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools.
Ensure correct welding parameters (current, voltage, heat) for strong and defect-free joints.
Inspect welded joints for accuracy, strength, and quality.
Repair and rework defective welds as required.
Follow safety procedures, use PPE, and maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of tools and materials.
Coordinate with supervisors and production teams to meet deadlines.
Maintain welding records and daily work reports if required.
Follow company quality standards and operational guidelines.
Adhere to attendance, discipline, and shop-floor rules.
Knowledge of different welding techniques and materials.
Ability to read technical drawings and measurements.
Experience in welding MS, SS, and other metals.
Understanding of safety norms and quality standards.
Physically fit and able to work in a factory/shop-floor environment.
ITI / Diploma in Welding (preferred).
