Welder

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.

• Perform welding operations using ARC, MIG, TIG, or Gas Welding as per job requirements.

• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools.

• Ensure correct welding parameters (current, voltage, heat) for strong and defect-free joints.

• Inspect welded joints for accuracy, strength, and quality.

• Repair and rework defective welds as required.

• Follow safety procedures, use PPE, and maintain a safe working environment.

• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of tools and materials.

• Coordinate with supervisors and production teams to meet deadlines.

• Maintain welding records and daily work reports if required.

• Follow company quality standards and operational guidelines.

• Adhere to attendance, discipline, and shop-floor rules.

Skills & Requirements

• Knowledge of different welding techniques and materials.

• Ability to read technical drawings and measurements.

• Experience in welding MS, SS, and other metals.

• Understanding of safety norms and quality standards.

• Physically fit and able to work in a factory/shop-floor environment.

• ITI / Diploma in Welding (preferred).

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 1 - 3 years of experience.
