Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled VMC Programmer to join our manufacturing team at Santosh Engineering Works, engaged in precision machining and automotive component manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute CNC/VMC programs as per engineering drawings and customer requirements.

2. Independently handle VMC machine programming, setting, tool selection and prove-out.

3. Have good knowledge of G-code, M-code and CNC machining operations.

4. Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T and machining tolerances.

5. Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, fixtures and machining parameters.

6. Optimize cycle time, tool life and machining processes.

7. Ensure dimensional accuracy and maintain quality standards.

8. Troubleshoot machining and programming-related issues.

9. Coordinate with production and quality teams for smooth operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.

• 5–10 years of experience in VMC programming and operations.

• Strong knowledge of CNC/VMC programming and machining processes.

• Experience in precision component machining will be preferred.

• Ability to independently manage machine programming and production requirements.

Salary: ₹32,000 – ₹42,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience and competency).

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Work Location: Dehugaon, Pune.
