Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented VMC Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) to produce precision parts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in machining operations, be able to read technical drawings, and ensure high-quality output through effective machine handling and inspection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate VMC machines as per job specifications and engineering drawings.

• Load raw materials and tools into the machine.

• Read and interpret technical blueprints, CAD designs, and job orders.

• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure part accuracy.

• Inspect machined components using instruments like micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.

• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.

• Record daily production data and maintain job documentation.

• Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness in the work area.

• Work closely with the quality and engineering teams for process improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, or Tool & Die or equivalent technical qualification.

• 1–3 years of experience operating CNC/VMC machines in a manufacturing environment.

• Basic knowledge of CNC programming (G & M codes is a plus).

• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and using measuring tools.

• Ability to work in shifts and under tight production deadlines.
