VMC Machine operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Horizontal Machining Centre (HMC) as per job requirements

• Perform job setting, zero setting, tool offset, and work offset adjustments

• Load and unload components safely and efficiently

• Understand and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining symbols

• Carry out in-process inspection using Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, etc.

• Maintain tool life and coordinate with tool room for replacements

• Monitor machine parameters and ensure machining within tolerance

• Perform basic machine parameter changes (feeds, speeds) when required

• Maintain daily production reports and inspection records

• Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S around the machine

• Follow all safety protocols during operation
