VMC Machine operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) as per production plan

• Perform job setting, zero setting, tool offsets, and work offsets

• Interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T

• Carry out in-process inspection using Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc.

• Ensure components are machined within required tolerance and surface finish

• Monitor tool wear and coordinate with tool room for tool change / regrinding

• Make basic changes in feeds, speeds, and machine parameters when required

• Complete production reports, process sheets, and inspection records

• Maintain machine cleanliness, coolant level, fixture cleanliness, and 5S

• Follow all safety and quality procedures during operation

Requirements:

• 2–3 years’ experience as VMC Operator (Freshers can also apply)

• Knowledge of Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controls preferred

• Ability to understand machining processes and cutting tools

• Experience handling machined components and castings

• Good discipline and attention to detail

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 1 - 4 years of experience.
