Job Description

  • Operate VMC machines with Siemens CNC controllers.

  • Read and understand engineering drawings and component specifications.

  • Perform machine setting, tool setting, and job loading/unloading.

  • Understand and execute CNC/VMC programs and make minor program corrections when required.

  • Set tool offsets, work offsets, and cutting parameters.

  • Check first-piece and in-process dimensions using measuring instruments.

  • Use vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauge, etc.

  • Maintain required production quantity and quality standards.

  • Identify machining defects and take corrective action.

  • Monitor tool condition and replace tools when required.

  • Maintain machine cleanliness and follow preventive maintenance practices.

  • Follow company safety rules, PPE requirements, and standard operating procedures.

  • Maintain production and inspection records.

  • Coordinate with the Supervisor/Production Engineer for production-related issues
