Job Opening – VTL & VMC Operator

Location: Madhavaram – Kosappur, Chennai

Salary: ₹20,000 to ₹30,000 (Based on Experience)

Shift Timing:

1st Shift – 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM

2nd Shift – 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

3rd Shift – 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM

Position: VTL & VMC Operator

Job Description:

We are hiring experienced VTL & VMC Operators for our manufacturing company located in Madhavaram – Kosappur, Chennai. Candidates must have minimum 1+ year experience in VTL / VMC machine operation and should have good knowledge in CNC machining process, machine setup, blueprint reading, and quality inspection.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and handle VTL & VMC machines efficiently

Load and unload raw materials and finished components

Set machine parameters, cutting tools, fixtures, feeds, speed, and offsets

Read and understand engineering drawings and technical blueprints

Monitor machine operation and production process continuously

Inspect finished components using Vernier caliper, micrometer, and measuring instruments

Maintain production quality and dimensional accuracy

Perform basic troubleshooting and machine maintenance

Make minor corrections in machine settings when required

Maintain workplace safety, machine cleanliness, and 5S standards

Record production details and machine performance reports

Requirements:

Minimum 1+ Year Experience in VTL / VMC Machine Operation

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred

Knowledge of CNC machining process and machine setup

Basic knowledge in G-Code & M-Code

Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints

Knowledge in measuring instruments and quality checking

Good attention to detail and production quality

Ability to work in rotational shifts
