VMC Machine operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up VMC machines as per production requirements.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and CNC programs.

• Select and install tools, fixtures, and workpieces on the machine.

• Monitor machining operations to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish.

• Perform basic offsets, tool changes, and minor program edits when required.

• Inspect components using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.).

• Maintain machine cleanliness, tools, and equipment in good working condition.

• Follow safety protocols and quality standards.
